When choosing the right toilet suite for you, there are some key considerations you should note. In the case of replacing an existing toilet, is your outlet (waste) pipe positioned through the wall (P trap), or does it go through your floor (S trap)? Does your existing tiling surround the original toilet? For in wall cistern options, do you have the wall cavity for a concealed cistern or do you need your plumber to utilise your roof? What is the WELS rating (Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Scheme) of the toilet suite? The more stars the better. How important is the need for low noise refilling, depending on the location of your toilet suite?
